NATIONAL 4-H WEEK: October 4-10, 2020

  • Overview of National 4-H Week & One Day 4-H
    • For over 100 years, 4‑H has inspired families, shaped careers, and impacted communities. On October 4-10, 2020 we want your help celebrating the impact of 4‑H during National 4‑H Week.  Here are some ideas to do that:
      • Get involved in the Texas 4-H social media challenges!
      • Wear your 4-H gear around town!
      • Share your 4-H story with people! (we’re happy to share your stories on our social media, too!)
      • Send a thank you note to a 4-H leader!
    • One Day 4-H is the official culminating day for National 4-H Week and allows Texas 4-H to see just how big of an impact 4-H members can make in one day.  This event allows 4-H members, parents, and volunteers to interact with and help their communities through service projects. The official date is October 10, 2020.
  • County Council One Day 4-H Community Service Activity:
    • The County 4-H Council has decided that it would like to have everyone make fabric face masks in youth and adult sizes to donate to the local schools as their One Day 4-H Community Service Projects.  If you would like to participate in this activity, please make and turn in your masks to the County Extension Office by Friday, October 9th.  We’ll work on distributing them to the school districts that following Monday!
    • Mask Patterns and tutorials:
